this was an intriguing start! i loved the art and storyline; the search/investigate mechanic was a nice surprise as well! the only bug i came across was the cursor disappearing after using the flashlight, but it wasn't game breaking. anyways, i look forward to how you continue it, if you do :)
This is a good beginning. Just continue to work and embody your ideas. No one is going to eat you. Well, maybe a little bit) But only when the game will become more developed.
